I am looking into a family history for an Issac Peirce 2nd Ohio Cavalry who was killed in a skirmish on September 13th 1864 near Opeqon. During this skirmish a large numnber of Southern prisoners were taken. Peirce was serving under General John B. McIntosh. Peirce may have been the only Union death that day and died the next day at Berryville Camp. The prisoners taken were from the 8th South Carolina.
I have some other material. Any thing you could add to this would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

I’ve been researching Isaac Peirce for years. What would you like to know?
