12/08/02 Battles & Leaders resulted after the Century
Magazine printed articles about individual battles from the Generals
who fought in them. After the articles had finished their run, they
were all combined into the four-volume Battles & Leaders series. Braford
attempted to take the most relevant and interesting articles and put
them into a one volume abridged edition, and I think he did a pretty
good job. Only beginner's will want this book, however. You'll definitely
want to get all four volumes for your library. 626 pp.

03/17/03 This
book is one of a series which actually breaks the Battles & Leaders
series down even farther. This was given to me by my Uncle for Christmas
one year. A nice book, but I believe the Series is out of print.
