New 2/29/04 This is a book in the Virginia Civil War Battles and Leaders series. I just purchased this book on the Battles of Cross Keys and Port Republic. I'm not at all happy about the maps in this one. Only four maps, and only one map each on the twin battles is not a good sign. I can only hope the narrative is more promising. I will give a review after I have read the book. For most books in the series, I would recommend getting them from C. Clayton Thompson. He offers great prices and usually has these available. 212 pp., 4 maps
