1812: Napoleon's Russian Campaign

This is a decent book on Napoleon's Campaign, and includes some interesting takes on tactical formations. However, one black mark is its utter and shocking lack of maps. Not everyone has a map of 1812 Russia branded onto the back of their hand, so giving at least one overview map and some drilled down theater maps really shouldn't be too much to ask. Sadly, we get none. This makes the book pretty much unreadable unless you have other maps of 1812 Russia form other books. Then it would be a solid entry into the field. I haven't read this book in quite some time, so once I reread it I'll try to give a more detailed review. 525 pp.
