If you like detail, and I mean LOADS of detail, then this book is for you. It goes into literal regimental level details and contains TONS of maps. This is the only book I know of that concentrates solely on the Battle of South Mountain, so I consider it a great pick-up on that point alone. I really like Priest's battle narrative too, but it probably isn't for everyone. The people who can definitely use it are scenario designers.
